Homemade Body Scrubs

Miscellaneous recipes to exfoliate your feet, elbows, face. You can put these together for a gift too!


Sugar Scrub

Sugar
some vegetable oil
vanilla extract or almond extract

mix sugar, oil and the flavoring into a scrub. Use on body and rinse off.


Strawberry Salt Scrub

1/2 Cup fresh strawberries
2 tsp. Olive oil
1 tsp. salt
Mash strawberries, salt and oil into a paste in a small bowl.

Use on body and rinse off.

Hors 'doeuvres anyone?

A block of cream cheese
pour your favorite jam over it and serve with crackers. Strawberry is good. Also you could use Jalapeno jelly.

Bagels spread with a flavored cream cheese. I like veggie or chive. Put red peppers cut up on the bagel if you like. Cut into mini bagels.

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups pepper vodka
1 1/2 cups vegetable juice
6 dashes Worcestershire sauce, or to taste
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish, or to taste
1 tablespoon jalapeno juice, from jarred jalapenos
Lemon wedges, for garnish
Celery salt, for garnish
Whole red chile peppers, for garnish
Ice

Instructions:

In a large pitcher, combine the vodka, vegetable juice, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, and jalapeno juice; mix thoroughly. For each cocktail, rub a lemon wedge around the rim of a 12-ounce high-ball glass and dip the glass upside-down into the celery salt, coating

Time for a Picnic!

Grab your significant other and head for a picnic!

Grab two turkey roasting pans at your neighborhood store. Fill them with charcoal briquets and set them side by side. Light your charcoal. Put the rack from your oven over the top of the turkey pans and cook.
